About

Greetings from West Bengal State University! The Training and Placement Cell of the University is playing a role in the creation of employable human resources, which is probably one of the most important deliverables to the society of any University. The Training and Placement Cell started providing various training, especially on computer-related subjects, in 2009. Most of these training sessions were practical in nature. The Department of Computer Science and Electronics of the University is directly involved in providing such training. Later on, from 2011, the cell took the initiative for placement and proving a bridge between the students and private sectors for possible employability. Employment-based training, direct placement, and off-campus placement were also organized by the cell. MOU with a couple of private organizations is underway to meet the long-term objectives of the cell. The cell is structuring various programs and expanding its activities.
